Mr. Nahakul K.C. holds his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Rural Development Department of Tribhuvan University of Nepal. He has a double Master’s Degree in Community Development and Public Administration from the University of the Philippines and IGNOU India. He was former Executive Director of Poverty Alleviation Fund Nepal. Over than two decades of professional experiences in Nepal, Afghanistan, Philippines and Vietnam. He served in the government senior executive positions as an Exectuve Director of Poverty Alleviation Fund, UNDP, DFID, World Bank, USAID and Civil Society Organizations in the sector of Governance, Poverty Alleviation, Management, Disaster Management, Climate Resilient and Livelihoods sector. Currently he is leading as a CEO/professional lead for ‘Development sector service provide company- Institute for International Development (IID)’. He is leading Nepal Disaster Resilient Network which is represent local humanitarian organizations and civil societies of the country.
He has expertise of local development planning, governance, accountability, project evaluation and disaster risk reduction. K. C. published his various articles in the national newspapers and journal articles about the “Measuring Multi -Dimensional Poverty Analysis in Nepal 2018” and Poverty and Financial Inclusion in December 2019.
